Understand and effectively Manage Risks, and continuously improve control

Reviewing Risk-based Approach comprising of Customer Risk Profiling and Updating KYC form, Customer acceptance, and identification procedures, including Sanctions screening

Enterprise Risk Management. Understand and effectively Manage Risks, and continuously improve control. We aim to perform a high-level Risk Assessment at an organizational level. This includes:

Developing Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) Policy for Risk Management Function.
Performing detailed process level risk assessment and reviewed end-to-end business processes.
Designing Risk Registers & Key Risk Indicators, including Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Counterparty Risk, Reputational Risk….etc.
Defining Risk Management role and responsibility.
Performing Gap Analysis by evaluating the components of Internal Control Environment, specifically: Control Environment; Risk Assessment; Instituting Controls; Information and Communication System; and Monitoring Activities and Correcting Deficiencies.
Make informed decisions about Risk Appetite and implementation of Control efforts, allocation of resources, Technology spends.
Assist Management in understanding how the structure of a Business Unit or Business Line’s Program aligns with its Risk Profile
Develop Risk Mitigation Strategies including applicable Internal Controls and therefore lower a Business Unit or business line’s Residual Risk exposure.

Assist Senior Management to understand the Risk Assessment Methodology and they are aware of the Key Risks, Control Gaps, and remediation efforts across the Entity. Assist management in ensuring that resources and priorities are aligned with its Risks Exposure.
